Left over roasted chicken? Make these easy BBQ tapas and serve for lunch or as an appetizer. Delicious!
Ingredients
- Lavosh - 1 sheet
- 2 TBS creme fraiche
- 1 cup left over roasted chicken (remove skin, debone, chop or shred)
- ¼ yellow onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup arugula
- ½ cup shredded cheese, I used mild cheddar
- Olive Oil
Spices
- ½ TSPN oregano
- ½ TSPN ginger
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Spread the lavosh with creme fraiche, place on baking sheet
- To a small frying pan add olive oil. When the oil is hot add the onion, cook for a few minutes until translucent. Add chicken and BBQ sauce. Just heat it up. Spoon the chicken and BBQ mixture to the top of the lavosh. Spread it out evenly. Season with oregano, ginger and salt and freshly ground pepper. Sprinkle (liberally) with sesame seeds, add shredded cheese. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until lavosh is golden brown around the edges. Cut and serve hot!
